LSM 510 Meta Training Notes

Turning on the system

z Turn on X-Cite power supply. This

supplies light for epifluorescence for

viewing your samples through the

microscope.

z Turn on the remote control switch.

This powers up the LSM system.

z Turn on the computer. The power

button is located on the upper right

hand corner of the tower.

z When prompted, press Ctrl +Alt + Del

to login. Enter lab user name and

password. Be sure the domain is CCAM.

You will be logging on to

\\fs3.vcell.uchc.edu\ccam\data\

your_lab
